When I originally released the David Roth Coin Boxes, I made many more Coin Boxes than Coin Box Sets, figuring that most magicians would only want the custom-made slot box and lid which were made according to David’s specifications. I was wrong. Most magicians wanted the sets which included a matching Okito and Boston box. Sold out of the sets pretty quickly.

Since then, the price of Brass and labor skyrocketed and making more sets would cost me around what I was selling them for. So, I came up with the idea of only making the Okito and Boston boxes and adding them to some of the remaining single boxes. This allowed me to keep the price as low as possible. For now. Very limited quantity available.

►Roth Coin Boxes:

In his constant pursuit of the ultimate coin box routine, David Roth created the Roth Coin Box which allowed him to be secretly one-ahead, and it also did a lot of the dirty work for him making the routines cleaner and more direct. In addition to the Roth Coin Box, you also get access to an in-depth tutorial where he teaches what he considered his best Coin Box Routine.

What is a Roth Coin Box? Some people assume that it is a standard type Okito Box with a slot in it, that is now commonly called a Slot Box. Of course, a slot is involved but there is much more that goes into making this box so very special.

All the boxes are precision made from Brass to David Roth’s original specifications. They are made to be used with US Half Dollars but can be used with similar sized, or smaller coins. Both sets of boxes come with access to a 50-minute video tutorial by David Roth where he discusses and teaches all the intricacies of the box, the sleights than can be used with it, and his favorite coin box routine which can only be done with this set.

David Roth was the most influential and creative coin magician in history. He literally revolutionized the way coin magic was performed and perceived. This is a digital copy of his very first set of lecture notes which was simply titled “A Lecture By David Roth.”

Michael Rubinstein just delivered a third shipment of his The Other Hand. One nice thing about these selling so fast is that this was the third lunch we had together in the last two weeks.

►The Other Hand:

After recording the formal TV version of the routine, he decided to continue refining the routine and eventually created a close-up version that is shorter, more direct, and easier to do. The new close-up version uses the same props but is streamlined for more intimate performances.

Since the props involved are difficult to put together, he decided to release a limited edition for serious coin magicians and collectors.

Comes with the beautifully antiqued chest, a high-end coin purse, a silicone hand, and access to the 1-hour and 42-minute video tutorial.

►Past Present Future:

This is an easy and direct routine which revolves around the spectator’s fate and uses a Tarot Deck. You can also use it to infuse fortune telling readings into your presentations if that fits your style.

You introduce the Major Arcana from a deck of tarot cards and show that on three of the cards, a single word is written. One card reads Past, another Present, and the third reads future. The cards are given a mix, and then the faces are shown, while you explain that the cards all represent something important in a person’s life. You ask the spectator to choose one card to represent their past, another to represent their present, and the last card to represent their future. The spectators can freely name any card they want. Those cards are clearly laid out on the table, and you then turn over the selected cards to reveal that the spectator mysteriously managed to perfectly select the cards with the words, Past, Present, and Future written on the backs of their cards.
