Grant opportunities to support
magic education programs

The Magic Endowment Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2001 Scholarship Award Program.

The Scholarship program, now in its tenth year, awards full tuition scholarships to children between the ages of 10 to 17, to attend summer camp programs devoted to the teaching of magic and related arts.

Prospective candidates for scholarships are invited to contact the Endowment Fund office at: 15 Warren Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or E-mail kapsmagic@juno.com to request an application form. The application deadline is May 15, 2001.

Recipients of scholarship awards will be notified by June 15, 2001 and will also be announced at the Society of American Magicians annual convention in New Orleans, Louisiana in July 2001.

The Magic Endowment Fund provides not only scholarships to attend magic camps, but also supports various worthy needs relating to the improvement of the art of magic, such as, the Leslie Guest Memorial Award for the best contribution to a magic magazine, financial support to the S.A.M. Hall of Fame and Magic Museum, and through its Houdini Hospital Fund, for the support of any magician who is ill and in need of assistance while hospitalized.
