David Roth is mostly remembered for the routines he created early in his career, which were eventually published in his monumental book Expert Coin Magic written by Richard Kaufman.

But he continued to create magic and sporadically introduce new routines and new techniques on video or at his lectures. The most influential of those later routines was his Blank Coin concept. Unfortunately, it was almost impossible to get good quality blank coins… until now.

This is our fourth David Roth release. The skill level required could be described as intermediate to advanced, although parts of the routines are easy. David was most proud of the two-coin transposition he came up with for the ending.

    â–ºBlank Coins Routines:

In 1998 David Roth introduced the blank coins concept to magic. The idea was that blank coins can magically transform into any coin you want. Since that time, he continued to innovate, improve, and change his original routine. Along the way he also created some new techniques to facilitate the magic.

The video tutorial, that is included with this coin set, features David performing his original routine and the final version he decided to release. You will also learn Dr. Michael Rubinstein’s routine and some ideas by Meir Yedid.

In addition to the routines, you will also learn the following techniques: Utility Switch, Shuttle Pass, Breakoff Move, Gary Kurtz Spellbound Move, One Hand Switches, The Drop Switch, Free Choice Copper Silver, Palm To Palm Change, Slide Move, Latta Fidget, Holding Position, Pistol Grip Technology, Nowhere Palm, and more.

    Watch and buy: HERE

If you need extra coins for the routine you have in mind or would just like to have singles to play with. They are available individually.

    â–ºBlank Coin:

A blank coin is also referred to as a planchet or a flan and is technically a round metal disc that is used to strike coins.

You get a single coin which is the exact size and thickness as a US Half Dollar with milled edges and a Satin Nickel finish. Comes with access to a video tutorial.

    â–ºMirror Coin:

A blank coin is also referred to as a planchet or a flan and is technically a round metal disc that is used to strike coins. This coin is a blank with a shiny mirror finish. The Mirror Coin can also be used as a shiner!

You get a single coin which is the exact diameter as a US Half dollar, with milled edges, but is just a little thicker, with a Mirror Nickel finish. Comes with access to a video tutorial.

    â–ºPhonetastic:

With the cell phone as the number one means of instant communication, performing magic over the phone is an excellent way for magicians to share their magic.

Imagine having a card secretly selected, placed back in the deck, then shuffled, and you reveal the chosen card. You can also have a pair of imaginary dice rolled and be able to tell the chosen number. There is even a gambling routine where the spectator deals himself the winning hand without realizing it. Also includes a revised bonus trick from the legendary John Scarne and the introduction to the JDH Principle, a new magic method that is being revealed for the first time.

    Stay happy, Meir
