A survey by Italy’s Confesercenti and polling institute SWG found, in a pole which was released last Friday, that 22 percent or Italians (10 million people) believe in magic, fortune-telling, astrology and spiritualism. Italy has around 70,000 magicians, astrologers, clairvoyants and faith healers. 2.5 percent (1.2 million people) of the people poled declared that they were victims of fraud.
