I know Rabbits don’t lay eggs, which makes Easter festivities all that much more confusing. I understand the history and symbolism… but still.
I remember one of the leaders of PETA on television saying that every time she sees a magician grab a rabbit by the ears it makes her cringe… Really? I have seen thousands of magic shows and never saw that. Although it was popular on cartoons I saw as a kid.
I hope the above two paragraphs logically lead to today’s illogical but cool magic trick. A sponge ball or egg to giant rabbit. Although it is a white ball that turns into a rabbit you can paint it to look like an Easter egg.
I also came up with, what I think is, a nice little routine that I performed on the trailer. Take a look: HERE
►Giant Sponge Ball To Rabbit:
The sponge ball to rabbit trick and method is a classic of magic. The method is simple. The Rabbit has been carved in such a way so in can turn inside out to look like a ball. When the ball is then pushed into your fist it turns into a Rabbit.
This is a giant version of the trick so it will not fit into most people’s fist but can be used as it is placed into a box or a bag. If you want to do it in the hands you can unravel it between both palms for a visual reveal. Or you can perform Meir Yedid’s routine with it, as seen on the trailer.

This is a very visual pen through card effect that combines two previous methods into an impossible looking sequence that looks like trick photography. It looks just as good live as it does on the trailer.
The basic effect is a Sharpie marker is visually pushed through the front of the card. It is then slid all over the card and finally pulled out of the back of the card.

PS: Last week I participated in the virtual David Roth memorial on what would have been his 69th birthday. Very emotional day. You can watch the recording of the star-studded event: HERE
