Wowfest ready to cast its magic
Swallowing needles, sawing people in half and making items disappear and reappear are just a few tricks up the sleeves of nine Calgary area magicians performing in the WowFest Magic Arts Festival at the Rotary Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) on Feb. 28. Magician Norman Ng straight forward about life of illusion
The first trick magician Norman Ng learned when he was 8 literally got the ball rolling for his career. “First trick I saw was at a magic store in my hometown, Portland, Maine,” he said. “The magician who owned the shop did this amazing thing where he made a little red ball disappear from his hand and reappear in my hand.
