From banking heir to TV magician -The Straits Times‎
As the heir to a banking family, master magician Drummond Money-Coutts is nothing like his parents. The 28-year-old Briton may not have settled for a comfortable banking career, but he is carving out his own success in the world of magic. Coutts & Co, which is based in London, is one of the world's oldest banks. "It was a long journey. I started out posting homemade videos on YouTube, trying to find and develop a style that had never been done before," he says in a telephone interview with Life!.

The unsuspecting reporter pulled a jack of diamonds from Bryan Lizotte’s deck of playing cards. When Lizotte looked through the pack and identified the wrong card, he told the reporter she should look on her cell phone. There, on the screen, was a text message: “The card you’re thinking of is the jack of diamonds.”

Veteran magician makes New Year Honours list
A lifelong dedication to promoting and practising the art of magic has earned an Auckland man the first ever Queen's Service Medal awarded for services as a magician. Alan Watson was introduced to magic at age seven and started out performing tricks for charity at hospitals and retirement homes, before spending decades as a commercial entertainer.

Harry Parkhurst of Lyndhurst dies at age 87 - northjersey
Harry Parkhurst, 87, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014. Mr. Parkhurst was a Supervisor at Hoffman LaRoche for 42 years before retiring in 1989. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Society of American Magicians and several local magician organizations.

Well-known educator Andrew Frazier dead at 82 -New Pittsburgh Courier
Andrew Frazier, a well-known educator with a passion for encouraging youths and young adults, passed away Dec. 22, just days before his last surviving brother passed. The Stanton Heights resident was 82. He was also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the Centre Avenue YMCA, Men of Fifth Avenue, the Pacemakers and the Point City Bridge Club, just to name a few.
