Magician 'Levitates Above The Shard'
A magician attracted crowds in London when he appeared to levitate above Europe's tallest skyscraper. But some fans were less than impressed - complaining that they could clearly see wires holding him up. Dynamo apparently rose into the air from the viewing platform at the top of The Shard on London's South Bank. Residents and tourists looked up as he continued to ascend between the towers of the capital's most famous skyscraper to a dizzying 1,016ft above street level.

Dynamo Shard levitation: Magician teases fans saying 'there's more to it than what meets the eye'
Magician Dynamo has hit back at claims wires could be seen during his levitation stunt at London's Shard. A picture taken during the rehearsal appeared to show cables holding the illusionist in place. Fans took to Twitter slamming the stunt saying that the wires could be seen as he 'floated' above Europe's tallest building. But in a video posted online today, Dynamo insisted: "The picture is not quite what it seems. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye."

Transgender magician from Manor Park stars in 1,000 Londoners film
Victoria Elizabeth, who goes by the stage name Princess, is sharing her story in a film made by Chocolate Films for its 1,000 Londoners documentary project which profiles the lives of people living in the city. She has been a “full time woman” since leaving her job in 2012 to focus on magic and says attitudes have noticeably improved since then.
