Opening night was August 8, 2014 and joining Yedid on the bill were Marc Salem and Marotta who acts as host and performer. Magician Paul Daniels denies Big Brother 'sex' tale
Paul Daniels has denied he and wife Debbie McGee are going to be contestants on Celebrity Big Brother. The 76-year-old, who was born in South Bank, Middlesbrough, has also claimed that quotes saying the couple planned to have sex in the house were made up. The couple were rumoured to be heading into the house for the Channel 5 reality series and a story in The Sun attributed quotes to the couple saying that they were planning some 'magic' in the bedroom while they were there.

Magicians compete for title -Mission City Record
Organizers of the show will be teaming up with the Fraser Valley Magic Circle to crown the Children's Magician of the Year. Six of the Fraser Valley's top children's performers will compete for the title. The entertainers will be judged by a panel of five celebrity judges, including two children from the audience. Local magician's audition never appears on "America's Got Talent" -Allentown Morning Call
Although his levitating trick was featured prominently in “America’s Got Talent” TV ads for this season, David Caserta’s audition never aired during the show. A magician known for levitating above the marquee of the State Theatre in Easton, Caserta says he performed his illusion for judges Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Melanie Brown in front of a live audience at Madison Square Garden. But the segment, which was filmed, never appeared on the reality competition show’s ninth season.

Joanie Spina dies at 61; transformed magicians' acts -Los Angeles Times
Born in Boston on Aug. 4, 1953, Spina grew up in Arlington, Mass. and did not seriously study dance until she was a 26-year-old bartender trying to lose weight.
