Animal Tales: Magician's real trick is managing the chaos around a -Lewiston Sun Journal

For a while, Ward juggled both a magic act and his day job as a fisherman. "I think the most challenging part was going from a lobster boat to 500 children," he said. "It was a little different."...

How David Copperfield Cooked Up a 'Death-Defying' Roadblock for-Yahoo TV
We worked for two months on something that usually takes two or three years to design and perfect. It was not so easy. Every illusion in my show is two years of work. But what was really challenging about this was that we had to create something that could be seen three times, one after the other. I have never had that problem before. When I do an escape, it is only done once. When you buy a magic kit, it says only do it once. If they see it again, they could lose interest or figure out how it works. So to create something that could be repeated three times was a new challenge for us. It was very rewarding when it worked out as it did.

Show & Teller: The illusionist puts the magic in 'The Tempest' -Wicked Local Ashland

But why should we believe him? He's a fake, a charlatan, a con man. Far from clarifying or illuminating anything, he's made a career out of deceiving us. Heck, he doesn't even use his full name...

Orlando Fringe review: '60 Minutes of Magic' -Orlando Sentinel
If magician Alex Rapattoni wanted to ditch the name of his show, "60 Minutes of Magic," he might go with "Magic's Greatest Hits." Anyone who has ever been a 6-year-old and attended a birthday party or a school assembly will have probably seen almost every trick (Rapattoni calls them "effects") in the show. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, because no matter how many times you may have seen the Chinese linking rings or a coin seemingly disappear into thin air, it's still sort of amazing. And kids will love it....
