North’s magicians set sights abroad - Korea JoongAng Daily
Pyongyang has asked an international organization of magicians to arrange a visit by North Korean illusionists to the United States amid rising tensions between the two countries over allegations that the regime is preparing for a fourth nuclear test, Radio Free Asia reported. Dale Salwak, an official from the International Brotherhood of Magicians, told RFA on Wednesday that the regime had proposed that the organization lead visits next year by at least 20 North Korean magicians to the United States, where they would perform. Salwak said he was planning to meet with North Korean officials in July in China to discuss the visit, RFA said...

Man breaks world record for 50ft Optimus Prime balloon statue - Daily Star
He took 42 hours to create the massive blown up statue which is made of a whopping 4,302 balloons. John Reid, a New York based artist and magician, hand crafted the 50ft-tall leader of the Autobots at the 2014 Salt Lake Comic Con in Utah. He named the impressive piece of art Poptimus Prime - a play on of the Transformers robot. Officials were there to declare that he had broken the world record for the largest balloon sculpture ever made by a single person.
