Magician performs in Greenfield to support reading
Comic Magician Norm Barnhart is coming to entertain young and old alike with his with his sleight of hand, crazy magic tricks, and a message about the excitement of reading. Norm will be at Salem Lutheran School in Greenfield on Sunday, Jan. 27, at 3:30 p.m. Salem is hosting a family fun afternoon with Magic Norm as the main event.

Magician retires, auctions off tricks
After 65 years of practicing magic, Dick DeYoung is hanging up his top hat and passing on his tricks. DeYoung, 83, recently began the process of auctioning off his more than 100 magic items that nearly filled the basement and garage of his Sheboygan Falls home. "I love magic and I still love to perform," DeYoung told The Sheboygan Press, "but it got to be too big of a production at this stage in my life."

Magician Criss Angel to Star in Spike TV Docuseries
Spike TV is getting into the magic business. The network is teaming with Criss Angel for an 11-episode series featuring new illusions and what it dubs as "apparent supernatural abilities." Over the hourlong episodes, Angel will attempt new "demonstrations" never attempted by any mystifier in history.
