Magician brings safety message -

Magician Kerry Kazaam, "The Safety Man,"
brought his message of safety to the
students of Beverly-Center Elementary
School. Sponsored by the Beverly Police
Department and the National Child Safety
Council, Kazaam spoke to kindergarten
through fifth-grade students about
various life situations and how to react
safely. The messages about traffic
safety, stranger danger and good and bad
touches were presented in a fun way,
with bits of magic thrown in. Kazamm
began by reminding students who their
"safety friends" were parents, teachers
and the police...
