Ron Frost, Tony Spina, Bill Schmeelk and Meir YedidFour generations of Tannen’s Magic employees reunite for lunch on Thursday October 6. Pictured are Ron Frost (1972-1979), Tony Spina (1944-1946 and 1968-2003), Bill Schmeelk (1967-1972) and Meir Yedid (1979-1988). Oddly most of the conversations centered on the many magician/employees who were caught stealing. From the basic money thefts to the more elaborate throwing props in the garbage and picking them up from the dumpster after the store closed or the one guy who was shipping fake orders to his home. Very funny stuff. (10/06/11: A MagicTimes photo).

When Spain’s award-winning illusionist Adrian Soler took centrestage, his final routine with the double-dress change showed up the trick. His assistant’s black dress was caught underneath and it exposed the pink dress she wore previously.
