Bob Elliott MemorialOn January 13 in Long Island, New York a Bob Elliott Memorial took place. Pictured are the officers of the magic clubs that Bob was associated with. Magician denies memorabilia sale means it's over - Henley Standard
PAUL DANIELS has hit back at criticism that his career has lost its magic. The 72-year-old Wargrave magician says that he is working harder than ever. This summer he starts a tour of countries including New Zealand, Hawaii and Fiji with show dates in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Daniels told the Standard: “Does that sound like I am retiring or that my career has lost its magic? I don’t think so.” Speculation that he might be considering bowing out of showbusiness came after wide publicity for the sale of the magic memorabilia that he has collected over the years....

Magician James Randi, skeptics launch attack on makers of homeopathic 'drugs' - Los Angeles Times
In an online video, Randi consumed an overdose of homeopathic sleeping pills to demonstrate that they have no effect, and skeptics elsewhere consumed large overdoses of other homeopathic drugs in similar demonstrations. Randi also offered $1 million of his own money to any manufacturer of a homeopathic product who could prove that the product actually worked as claimed, and challenged major retailers like CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreens to remove the products from their shelves....

Justin Green, a Lapeer East grad, has been performing magic since he was 15 years old. He became interested in magic tricks after watching famous magicians on television like David Copperfield, David Blaine and Chris Angel. After a month of practicing a few tricks, Green performed tableto table at Castaways restaurant in Elba Township.
